Ao no Miburo S01

It's 1863, the late Edo period, and Japan is on the cusp of great change. The streets of the capital are filled with blood; as the political unrest and escalating tensions between the wandering ronin and the government samurai have set the stage for one of the most tumultuous periods in Japanese history. A young orphan named Niwa is all too familiar with the harsh realities of life, but still clings to his passion for justice and his dream of changing the world for the better.
